Musik Masters, Lorain Counties best dj service, tailors events to meet the needs and desires of each of our clients. Here is an example order of events at a reception and how we can help

Cocktails/Social Time

A nice mixture of jazz and easy listening music greets your guests as they arrive. The DJ Greets the bridal party outside as soon as they appear. He will instruct them on how they will be introduced and fill them in on other details of their entrance. The Bridal Party will be announced by the DJ as they enter and can mingle with the guests

Toast and the Meal

After the DJ gets everyone seated the best man is welcome to use our wireless mic to make the first toast possibly followed by other family members and close friends. Then the meal is served during which a quiet mix of jazz is played in the background.

Special Dances

When the bride and groom have finished their meal they may circulate around tables greeting their guests. When the bride and groom are ready, the DJ can announce the first dance. This is followed by the father daughter and bridal party dances. After the special dances, the DJ opens the dance floor up to everyone and uses the bride and groom’s music list to get everyone dancing

After thirty minutes of everyone dancing, the DJ will announce the cake cutting. Afterwards the DJ will invite the bride and all the single women out to the dance floor for the bouquet toss to be followed by the garter toss.

Now that all the formalities are over the night is left to dancing. The DJ will make selections from the bride and grooms music list, any request from the guests, and music that the crowd seems to respond to. At the end of the night the DJ will encourage everyone to join with the newlyweds for their last dance.
This has been an example of a reception we have done in the past. We are very flexible and we encourage you to shape your day in any way you may wish. Please contact us and request our event planner to specify the order of events for your day.
